ソ連の崩壊とともに、農業の崩壊。若者は都市に仕事を求めてでていき、そのままゴーストタウンのようになっていくあるリトアニアの村を20年間撮影し続けた記録。2009年にアルルのフォトフェスティバルでPrix Découverte にノミネート。撮影された背景はともかく、生きることに目標はなく、ただただ食べて、セックスして、死なないで毎日を過ごすことなんだろうともこういう写真を見ると考えるところ。
Roger Ballen, Anders Petersen, Boris Michailov, 日本の内藤正敏氏, 土田ヒロミ氏の俗神を連想した。
