Kraftwerk. 3-D Video-Installation at LENBACHHAUS

ミュンヘンで10月15日から11月13日までクラフトワークの展覧会が開催。Tate ModernとMoMAにも巡回。展覧会のカタログも出版されます。そちらは日本でも入手可能。Youtube にミュンヘンで行われたコンサートの映像が多数あがっています。みんな3Dメガネをかけてコンサートを見ている様子の写真がアップされています。展示の画像はヴォーグのドイツ語版にアップされています。

Wallace Berman ウォレス・バーマン Assemblage Verifax Collages

Wallace Berman (b.1926 Staten,NY) 

"Assemblage Art"の代表的なアーティスト。家具工場で働く傍ら、端材で立体造形物を作るうちにアーティストとなる。アメリカ西海岸を主な拠点として、ウェストコーストジャズやビートニクとの関係、彼の作品でページが埋められ仲間内で配られた雑誌"Semina" や "Verifax Collages"と呼ばれるコピーを繰り返した紙片をグリッド上にレイアウトした作品が有名。いわゆる"ローアート"なので2005年くらいからようやく評価され研究されるようになってきた。1976年の誕生日に交通事故で死亡。


Robert Heinekenと Wallace Berman の二人展"Speaking in Tongues: Wallace Berman and Robert Heinecken, 1961-1976"が Armory Center for the Arts で2012年10月から開催予定。
